I guess this will be the last post for this english journal.
Had Food hygiene, practical and POWC progress test two weeks ago.
Passed my food hygiene test.
Tomorrow, the results for POWC and practical will be made known to us individually.
Hopefully i will make it.
got 3 projects on hand, nothing much.
Just that is all about teamwork, sigh.
Having 2 presentation tomorrow, for host communication and English.
Formal outfit.
We have to do a group skit for English presentation.
However, we will introduce Singapore Zoo and Singapore flyer to "tourist" for the host project.

Good luck for tomorrow, FOR ME!

Time for new blog post.
Had Essential Food Knowledge progress test last thursday.
The test was not that easy, almost everybody leave blank for some questions.
That includes me too.
In order to let us have a "taste" of the final year examination, Chef Adrian purposely did not tell us which chapter will come out for test.
And so, i spent time on revising more on eggs, vegetables, nuts, fruits but NOT meat cuts.
The topic on MEAT CUTS was tough, 3/4 of the paper is on MEAT CUTS.
It's a heavy topic.
It connsist 35% of the overall.
So i got to score well for the final examination.
Having P.O.W.C theory toomorrow, Practical exam on tuesday. Food hygiene on wednesday, English on June.

A exam week, concentrate!

This is the 4th week, 1 month had pass.
Next week will be the progress test for E.F.K, food hygiene and etc.
Subject mentors have been giving revision and us as hosts are trying to catch up.
But good enough, theory we just have to study smart and understand.
Whereas practical, we have to put in effort during the process.
Last I.S which is 2 days ago, Chef is not satisfied with our efforts due to our end-products are foods that are not for human.
we didn't put in maximum effort because we rush everything out.
we will never get a nice plate of food so long our attitude is not correct.
Heart - 100%, Effort - 100%, Hard work, 200% and unmeasured attitude.
Though the insults are harsh but i know it's for our own good.
If i would want to climb up the stairs of fame, i have to start from now.
And i wouldn't want to disappoint Chef and MYSELF for the next I.S .

3 weeks of school has past.
Currently, our class are adapting to the changes now as no choice, next time in the industry, there will be lots of changes.
Chef Adrian is leaving our class next monday.
In addition, Chef samson will be taking over his duties.
Yes, had our first I.S lesson with him yesterday as Chef Adrian is on mc.
Not-so bad though but still more used to having Chef Adrian around.
And, had our first Host Communications class on thursday and the mentor came in telling us that our mentor for host will be change next week.
Oh man, a changes of 2 mentors.
The bonding with DCS410B is great because of willy and some muslim guys.
Willy's laughter, nice one! That day Chef inmitate Willy's laughter.
Today is labour day so no school! HOORAY.
Last but not least, i cut my finger on wed I.S .
I guess everybody can never escape this!

Attended almost 2 weeks of lesson in Shatec.
It isn't as easy as what you think, more stress to come.
Getting along with a group of people, shihui/hongyi/enqi and etcc.
Still can't get used to the timetable, having 15 minutes break after every lecture.
Having mentors like Chef Fun, Mr Koh and Miss Ong.
Had I.S lesson in SOLO 2, awesome experience for practical.
  1. Vegetable cutting into different sizes.
  2. Potato dishes, mashed potato/roasted potato.
  3. Lasagna with White roux and Chicken bolognese sauces.

English lesson from the basic, good benefits for me re-taking O'level Eng.
Food science and Hygiene course, not-bad.
Essential Food Knowledge and Demo kitchen lesson, best !!

So tiring for my long journey.
Endure for 1 year.
Must have 90% for attendance.
